BECOME A
VOLUNTEER
Join us by volunteering your time and supporting children in foster care.
Volunteers make it possible for The Foster Network to care for the many families we serve. Each week, we need approximately 70 individuals to help The Closet operate smoothly, with most serving shifts lasting about two hours.
In addition to weekly support at The Closet, we also rely on volunteers to assist with special events throughout the year. Every role—whether behind the scenes or front-facing helps ensure foster families can access the resources they need in a welcoming, supportive environment.
Whether you would like to come in solo or volunteer as a group with your company, organization, team, family, or friends - we have a spot for you. Whether you want to take responsibility for one key area or float amongst the many needs that arise - we have a need you can meet. Whether you want to give of your time weekly, now and then, or for one specific day - we have an opportunity for you.
Please email volunteers@thefosternet.org or call (605) 271-1131 to learn more about opportunities, to schedule an introductory tour, or to begin volunteering.
