Give Joy This Christmas!
The Foster Network is so excited to help spread Joy this Christmas! In 2024, we provided gifts to nearly 1,000 children throughout our community and state. We are looking forward to serving even more children this upcoming holiday season.
Tree Locations & Virtual Tags
Several generous businesses in the Sioux Falls area are hosting trees with wish list tags to be fulfilled. You can grab a wish list tag from one of these listed businesses.
Gifts must be dropped off at one of our designated drop-off locations by Monday, December 1, 2025. Please put gifts in gift bags or reusable bags and do not wrap them. To identify each item, please put the physical tag or printed virtual tag in the gift bag when you drop them off. See our FAQ below for more information.

Shipping Gifts:
If you are not located nearby, you can have gifts shipped directly to us. To help us stay organized, please include the tag number and the child's name in the comment section of your order if there is one. Additionally, kindly email the shipping information to christmas@thefosternet.org, including the tag number and the child's name. Our address is 620 S Cliff Ave, Suite 200, Sioux Falls, SD 57104.
Get Involved
This holiday season, you have the chance to brighten the life of a child impacted by foster care, trauma, or crisis. There are so many meaningful ways to get involved—whether it’s donating, volunteering, or sponsoring a wish, your support makes a lasting difference.

Providing Christmas would not be possible without the financial support of businesses, groups, organizations, and individuals coming alongside us. Make a financial donation today to help provide gifts to children in foster care.
Gift Sign-Up
Christmas can be a stressful time for children in foster care. Our goal is to help remove some of the stress and worries associated with Christmas, allowing you to focus on helping the children in your home through the holiday season.
Who can sign up?
Any family with a child placed with them by a licensing agency that needs support this Christmas.
Any child affected by foster care. This includes, but is not limited to, kinship, foster, adoptive, guardianship, and harbor families.
Registration Deadline: Friday, October 17, 2025.
Only new placements will be accepted after the October 17th submission deadline. If you have a new placement after the registration deadline, please email us at christmas@thefosternet.org.
Gift Pick-up
The gifts will be ready for pick up by December 12 & 13, 2025. We will be sharing more information about gift pick-up soon.
